It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for AFD-TL01-2024: Procurement of Transmission Line Material for 500kV Transmission Lines associated with 500kV Sialkot & Vehari Substations. The National Transmission & Despatch Company Limited (NTDC, The Purchaser) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Procurement of Transmission Line Material for 500kV Transmission Lines associated with 500kV Sialkot & Vehari Substations. The material shall be procured in Six (06) lots: Lot # Description Quantity Lot-I 500kV Steel Towers 220 Nos. Lot-II OPGW along with accessories 380 km Lot-III-A Hardware Assemblies with Glass Insulators and Accessories Lot* Lot-III-B Hardware Assemblies with Non Ceramic Composite Insulators Lot* Lot-IV Dampers Lot* Lot-V Grounding Material Lot* *The quantities of the above lots shall be as per the respective Price Schedule(s). Pay a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000.00 or USD equivalent by Cashier?s Cheque, Pay Order or Demand Bank Draft in favor of Chief Engineer (Material Procurement & Management), NTDC, 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore, Pakistan. The Bidding Documents may be collected in person or may be requested to be sent by express airmail upon payment of an additional fee of PKR 3,000 for domestic delivery or USD 150.00 for overseas delivery. No liability will be accepted by NTDC for loss in transit or late delivery. Also available at https://afd.dgmarket.com The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Agence Fran?aise de D?veloppement?s Bidding Documents for Procurement of Goods. Bids will be opened in public and in the presence of bidders? representatives who choose to attend at 11:30 am (Pakistan Standard Time), 21st May 2024 at the offices of Chief Engineer (Material Procurement &Management), NTDC, 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore, Pakistan. Qualification criteria are as follows; Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with AFD?s Single-Stage - One-Envelope procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. The Bidders must satisfy the evaluation and qualification criteria in Section-III of the Bidding Documents in which they wish to participate, including the following key requirements: The Bidder or its proposed Manufacturer must have at least 05 years? design/ manufacturing experience of similar Goods having similar or higher rating and capacity. The Bidder or its proposed Manufacturer must have experience of at least two (02) contracts for supplying similar Goods outside the country of origin of offered equipment/goods or within Pakistan during last ten (10) years. The Goods of similar or higher rating and capacity supplied by the bidder should have been in satisfactory operation for a continuous period of at least three years on the date of Bid opening. In case of JV, all partners combined should fulfill this requirement (draft JV agreement should be provided with the bid). The bidders, who are not manufacturers themselves, shall furnish an authorization from the concerned manufacturer to submit a bid for supply of their goods to Pakistan against this tender. 9. The delivery period is 240 days for CIP (Karachi) / EXW Pakistan (excluding 20 days for inland transportation in case of Ex-Works delivery for Goods supplied from within Pakistan) from the date of signing of contract. When comparing Bids, AFD?s Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied as stipulated in the Bidding Documents. |
